Z-Pass stamp mark

pocket social drift

Share something strange.

A light little social app for passing keepsakes hand to hand and noticing who is nearby — no feed, no email, no account sprawl.

No email Device keys Offline-first Local-only by default

What's inside

Small, polite, surprising.

Lasagna Mode

Discover nearby people without broadcasting yourself back. Reveal only when you want to reach out — it's on by default, because sometimes you just want to be a ghost.

Device keys, no accounts

Your identity is a key pair on your phone, not a server row. Delete the app, delete your identity. No email signup, no password to lose.

Files, not feeds

Share actual things — PDFs, text, images. Opening one is a deliberate act, not a scroll reflex. Each keepsake you receive lands in your Keepsakes tab to revisit any time.

Encounter history

A private timeline of the people you've crossed paths with, where, and what you traded. Your data, stored locally — never uploaded.

Request-only for big keepsakes

Anything over ~10 MB stays opt-in: large keepsakes travel only when recipients explicitly ask for them, so the first hello stays fast and light.

End-to-end integrity checks

Every transfer includes a plaintext hash; a tampered or corrupted keepsake is rejected at the receiver before it's ever stored.

How a trade feels

Four taps, end to end.

  1. 01

    Turn on the pulse

Z-Pass broadcasts a tiny encrypted card over BLE to anyone running the app nearby. You can stay invisible until you want to reach back.

  2. 02

    Request a connection

Tap someone who's nearby. They see your card and decide whether to say hi back.

  3. 03

    Pick a keepsake to send

Choose any keepsake from your Keepsakes tab. Small ones travel automatically on approve; large ones stay opt-in.

  4. 04

    Open it later

The keepsake lands in your Keepsakes tab, encrypted in transit, integrity-checked on arrival. Read it when the moment feels right.
